KATE KENNEDY |
Kate was born in Oceanside, New York and studied fine arts at Parsons School of Design with a minor in art history & printmaking. Her primary medium is Encaustic which consists of natural bees wax and dammar resin (crystallized tree sap). Kate's work has been widely exhibited in the United States and abroad. She had been reviewed in The New York Times, Art in America, Art Forum, Flash Art, The New York Drawing Society, Galleries Magazine, Brutus Magazine in Japan as well as Arts and Antiques Magazine. Socially conscious and spiritually attuned, her work often expresses and reflects the human condition.
